The mission of the Culver City Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is to support local responders, communities, private organizations, and state or federal agencies swiftly and efficiently during large-scale disasters or planned events. CERT members are trained to strengthen Culver City’s disaster response efforts by providing vital volunteer assistance when needed.
The Culver City Fire Department (CCFD) is offering a free two-day skills training session that will fulfill the in-person requirement for full CERT certification.

Spring
Saturday, February 28, 2026 AND Saturday, March 7, 2026 (you must attend both 8-hour classes for certification)
Fall
Saturday, November 7, 2026 AND Saturday, November 14, 2026 (you must attend both 8-hour classes for certification)
