During the month of October, Culver City Firefighters are proudly wearing pink in support of the fight against breast cancer. You can join them and show your support by purchasing a CCFD Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirt.
Pink October apparel will be available for purchase at Fire Station 1 (9600 Culver Boulevard) and Fire Station 3 (6030 Bristol Parkway) between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
All proceeds will be contributed to Christine Parra's American Cancer Society Making Strides for Breast Cancer Team. Christine, a breast cancer survivor and the Fire Department’s Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, is a cherished member of the CCFD family. On October 25, Christine and her team will take part in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, a powerful event that brings communities together to promote early detection, prevention, and hope—while funding research and providing patient support.
