Throughout October, Culver City Firefighters are proudly wearing pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You can join them and show your support by purchasing a CCFD Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirt.
Pink October apparel will be available for purchase at Fire Station 1 (9600 Culver Boulevard) and Fire Station 3 (6030 Bristol Parkway) between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
All proceeds will be contributed to Christine Parra's American Cancer Society Making Strides for Breast Cancer Team. Christine, a breast cancer survivor and the Fire Department’s Emergency Services Manager, is a cherished member of the CCFD family.
On October 24, Christine and her team will participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, an event that brings communities together to raise awareness, support survivors, and help fund breast cancer research and patient support services.
