The Culver City Fire Department is hiring for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic (Lateral).

Salary and Benefits:

$79,905.74 - $116,033.25 annual base salary; starting salary is commensurate with years of experience performing full-time paid experience in an all-risk fire agency.
One-time $5,000 Hiring Bonus to be given after 18 months
Additional 5.5% compensation for Firefighter I Certification
23.25% paramedic assignment pay
12% EMT Certification
5% Bilingual Incentive, if eligible. (Current program languages are Arabic, Farsi, and Spanish)
Education Incentive: 2% for AA/AS, 4% for BA/BS or 6% for MA/MS.
Longevity pay of $5,000/year for 10 years of service, $8,000/year for 15 years of service, $11,000/year for 20 years of service or $14,000/year for 25 years of service.

California Paramedic Certification. Candidates with National Registry or other valid paramedic certifications may apply. LA County paramedic accreditation must be obtained by date of hire.
Two years full-time experience with an all risk fire department.
Possession of a valid California Call "C" driver license by time of appointment.
